Leduc Lacrosse Club was formed in March of 2003. Daryl Hill was approached by some parents to start an association in Leduc. They were traveling to Edmonton so their kids could play lacrosse. Daryl had played lacrosse in the 60's & 70's and had been a coach previously with the South Edmonton Warriors. So our club was born!
The first season Leduc had 1 novice team in the GELC. The team was made up of 17 kids from Leduc and Beaumont. It took a few years, but slowly the club started to grow one team at a time. In the past 5+ years the association has grown tremendously; we have so many young kids wanting to play.
Beaumont has been added to our association as an affiliate club for the all girls teams; they have been a wonderful addition. Beaumont has done a great job promoting the girls game of lacrosse.
The growth of our club can only get stronger with the dedication and hard work of our players, coaches, parents and executive board. We welcome you to our club!
